You may have heard of Achillea ‘Moonshine’ yarrow. It’s a perennial classic—an award-winning, long-blooming, tough plant. Well now there’s a ‘Little Moonshine’!
The flowers are the same mustard-yellow, but while ‘Moonshine’ grows 2 feet tall, ‘Little Moonshine’ tops out at 14-16 inches, so it’s a great front-of-the-border plant.
‘Little Moonshine’ is happiest in full sun but will tolerate light shade. It’s also heat-loving and can stand up to dry conditions. But the best part is that it attracts beneficial pollinators but has no serious pest or disease issues.
‘Little Moonshine’ is hardy in zones 4-8 and will bloom all summer long if you keep it deadheaded.
