My Asiatic Lily ‘Landani’ has been showing off its blackish-red flowers for quite a number of days now. This is the darkest lily I’ve ever grown:
I said I wouldn’t grow any more morning glories until the Japanese beetle population leveled off, but I couldn’t help myself. My ‘Heavenly Blue’ plants aren’t being as bothered as much this year because they are in partial shade and the beetles prefer hanging out in the sun:
