Daylily ‘Bring It On’ was an impulse-purchase for me in 2023. It bloomed for the first time for me last summer.
This is a semi-evergreen daylily that grows 26 inches tall, so it can be used in the front or middle of a border. The flowers are huge—8 inches across!
The petals and sepals are coral orange and have dark-orange eye. The edges of the ruffled petals also show a touch of darker orange. The flowers look different on sunny vs. cloudy days.
I didn’t get many photos last year because ‘Bring It On’ bloomed right in the middle of our 7-week stretch of heavy rain.
