Notes: More Juncos and White-throated Sparrows must have just arrived. The ground is alive with so many birds that it’s difficult to count them all.
Today’s Count:
- 60+ White-throated Sparrows
- 30+ Juncos
- 12 Goldfinches
- 2 Chipping Sparrows
- 1 Red-bellied Woodpecker
- 1 Red-breasted Nuthatch
- 5 Mourning Doves
- 5 House Sparrows
- 2 House Finches
- 2 Cardinals
- 1 Yellow-bellied sapsucker
- 1 Chickadee
- 1 chipmunk
- 3 squirrels (one figured out a crafty way to get on one of the bird feeders so I had to move the baffle. It didn’t help. Squirrel: 1 Em: 0. This isn’t over by a long shot.)
