Our 20% chance of snow showers became a raging snowstorm for a short time yesterday afternoon. At one point I thought I was going to have to shovel the driveway. One second it was sunny outside and the next it was hard to see out the window.
Five miles southwest of Madison a weather spotter recorded .6 of an inch of snow in 10 minutes. I would guess that’s about how much fell in my backyard as well.
The backyard critters appeared as shocked as I was. Suddenly there were birds and squirrels everywhere, eating like there was no tomorrow.
