I’m not sure why my juncos suddenly became fond of Nyger seed. Perhaps it’s because the price for a 20-pound bag has skyrocketed to $27.99. They feel they’re worth it.
I’m not particularly thrilled about this new development. My hope is that they are merely pretending to eat it to irritate the goldfinches.
