It appears I have another mystery daylily on my hands. I thought I had purchased and planted the cultivar ‘Bedouin Tattoo’, but ‘Bedouin Tattoo’ is supposed to be lavender with a bluish eyezone and a lime green throat. The flowers my daylily displays are not even close to that description, but I’m definitely not complaining.
I give you “Not ‘Bedouin Tattoo'”:
Watermarks make me weak in the knees, and this daylily displays a dandy. I guess you would call it a hot pink watermark on a wine-red flower. Yup, that’s what I’m going with.
My daylily has the same growing habits as ‘Bedouin Tattoo’–about 28 inches tall with 6-inch flowers. If I knew the name of it, I would recommend it to the world because this daylily is a stunner.
