I paid $5 for my daylily ‘Indy Fireworks’ and it was worth every penny. The beautiful cherry-red blooms have a chartreuse watermark and a green throat. The plants grow 28 inches tall and are late-season daylilies.
I love when I stumble onto a good plant combination. I plunked ‘Indy Fireworks’ into the only available space I had in the garden at the time. I was pleasantly surprised when it bloomed at the same time as neighboring ‘Ruffled Apricot.’ I think the flowers complement one another quite nicely:
