I planted Daylily ‘Color Coordinated’ late last August, so this year was the first time I got to enjoy the flowers. I adore watermarks, and this daylily has a lovely lavender-white watermark that appears on burgundy petals and sepals.
‘Color Coordinated’ is a newer cultivar (2007) that grows 28 inches tall with 5-inch flowers. The semi-evergreen plants bloom in the middle of the daylily season.
That gorgeous watermark would really stand out growing next to purple or blue flowers, and yellow flowers would bring out the contrasting bright-yellow throat.
