I’m surprised my ‘Bill Norris’ daylily performs as well as it does considering the ever-encroaching shade that is now blocking all but several hours of sunlight a day from my plant.
‘Bill Norris’ has stunning gold flowers with frilly petals that sometimes show just a hint of white on their edges. The scapes grow 29 inches tall, and the flowers are pleasantly fragrant.
I like to plant ‘Bill Norris’ with dark-red or purple daylilies to really let that sunny gold color shine in contrast.
