Some years many of my rudbeckia plants turn brown and croak in the middle of summer for no reason. I’m assuming it’s due to a bacterial disease they get from the soil. This year the rudbeckias must’ve liked the weather and soil conditions because all but one of my plants stayed alive for the entire summer.
My ‘Autumn Colors’ plants had ridiculously-huge flowers on them. Some were more than 7 inches across!
‘Autumn Colors’ grows 20-24 inches tall with flowers in shades of brown, gold, mahogany and bronze.
