Daylily ‘Royal Rendezvous’ caught my eye on a garden tour last summer. The official color description is “Rose-grape blend with gold edges and yellow-to-gold watermark above a gold-green throat.” The flowers reach 5.5 inches on 24-inch-tall plants.
I was already sold on the gorgeous flowers, but another plus for this lovely daylily is that its father is ‘Emperor Butterfly’—one of the sturdiest, long-bloomers in my garden:
