Calibrachoa ‘Lemon Slice’

I usually use my own leftover annuals in my patio pots and planters, but this year I bought a couple of Proven Winners to spice things up. I like the easy-going nature of calibrachoa (Superbells), and when I looked over all the color choices, I just couldn’t resist ‘Lemon Slice’. The bright, cheery flowers are adorable:

The plants grow 6 to 10 inches tall in sun or partial-sun. They have a mounded habit and will spill over the edges of a pot or planter. The best part is, they don’t need deadheading.

‘Lemon Slice’ performs best in well-drained soil and can develop root rot if over-watered. The plants appreciate a regular dose of balanced fertilizer.
