I added a couple of sedums to my front-yard flowerbed this spring because they are very winter-hardy. I’ve had a ‘Mr. Goodbud’ growing in my backyard for almost 10 years now, so I knew the cultivar would be reliable.
The flowers start off medium-pink and then darken to a rich, purply-pink:
‘Mr. Goodbud’ grows in an upright clump with strong stems. Sedums prefer full sun, but they’ll tolerate partial-shade.
This beauty grows 15 to 18 inches tall and blooms in August and September. ‘Mr. Goodbud’ is hardy in Zones 3-9.
