Back in August I mentioned that the ‘Star of Yelta’ morning glories were back with a vengeance this summer. I haven’t planted any for more than 10 years, but they keep self-seeding.
Usually I pull the plants before the seeds drop, but I just didn’t get around to it this year. When I was cleaning up the garden last week, I noticed that some of my 6-foot-tall lilies were just tangled in morning glory vines.
I’m going to be in an epic battle with this plant next summer.
