I know how they feel. For the last 7 days we’ve had to shovel the driveway and sidewalks at the crack of dawn to get them cleaned off and safe for vehicles and people. But on every one of those days the sky showed us who was really boss. After a few hours it would start snow again—very lightly—but just enough to cover all the hard surfaces so we had to start all over again.
But things are looking up! While it’s -3(F) this morning, I see a 40 in the forecast for mid-week, and in just two weeks my makeshift greenhouse in the basement will come alive for another year. First up, petunias!
