My goldenrod plants were in a big hurry this year. All of my cultivars started blooming earlier than usual and the display only lasted a few weeks. I wonder if all the rain we’ve had messed them up?
Even the wild goldenrod near some of the hiking trails I frequent was blooming earlier than normal this year:
