Last year I sprouted some ‘Queen Lime Orange’ and ‘Queen Lime with Blush’ zinnias. They were a last-minute edition, and I really liked how they performed. This winter I bought more seeds and planned to sprout even more plants.
When I did my seedling inventory last month, I was disappointed to learn that they had about a 50% germination rate. I didn’t have enough leftover seeds to reseed all of the packs, so I’m making due with the plants that did sprout.
Last year the Japanese beetles ignored these zinnias, so I wanted to make sure I grew them again.
Queen Lime zinnias grow about 30 inches tall and thrive in sun or part-sun.
