I thought my ‘Raspberry Ripple’ zinnias looked a little different this year, but I didn’t care because they have been blooming like crazy. It wasn’t until I got my handy dandy plant map out that I realized I was looking at the wrong cultivar.
This is Zinnia ‘Dancing Girls’ from Burpee. The plants are supposed to grow 18 to 20 inches tall with 2-to-3-inch flowers. My plants are about 14 inches tall and most of the flowers are only 1 or 2 inches across.
But wow are these ever happy little plants! I’m not the least bit bothered by the fact that they’re not living up to their description!
The plants are plastered with pink and white flowers
