This summer I tried a newer ageratum cultivar called ‘High Tide Blue.’ Unfortunately I mixed it up with my ‘Blue Horizon’ ageratums and then planted it in the 3rd row of my flowerbed where it got a little overshadowed. ‘High Tide Blue’ grows 14 to 16 inches tall—not 30 inches tall like ‘Blue Horizon’.
Despite my blunder, I am pleased with these plants that are sturdy and covered with bluish-purple flowers that are adored by bees.
