I bought quite a few new daylilies last year in late summer so this year was the first time I got to see them bloom. ‘Blueberry Breakfast’ was my hands-down favorite. The first bloom took my breath away. The color is very rich and unique in the garden. It bloomed continuously for 4 weeks this summer which is great for a first-year plant. In August the Wisconsin Daylily Society held their annual sale and I picked up a ‘Blueberry Breakfast’ buddy for my original plant so they can make an even bigger impact in the garden next summer!
