Daylily ‘Angel’s Delight’

Daylily ‘Angel’s Delight’ was registered 43 years ago in 1978. I’ve had this daylily stuck in the back of one of my part-shade beds for years, so it doesn’t get admired as much as it probably should.

‘Angel’s Delight’ grows 22 inches tall with 5.5-inch flowers. The color was registered as “apricot melon self’. The petals are ruffled and I like the tinges of bright yellow that peek out from the center and spread out.

This is a dormant daylily that won an American Hemerocallis Society Honorable Mention award in 1983.
