I’ve been growing ‘Whisper Mix’ nicotianas for a decade now. I love them because you can put them in the back of a border (they grow 36-48 inches tall) and they don’t care if they grow in sun or part-shade (although in part-shade you may want to stake them).
This annual comes in cottage garden shades of rose, pink, violet and white, and they attract hummingbirds like crazy.
The plants branch nicely and if you cut the stalks when they are done flowering, the plants will keep sending up more flowers until frost.
