Yes I know that some robins stay in southern Wisconsin throughout the winter. In fact I saw one in late December. But yesterday I was very excited to spot my first “spring” robin in the backyard!
But wait! There’s more! I also noticed daffodils and snowdrops peeking out of the ground!
The long-range forecast (which can be iffy) is already calling for us to get a couple of large storm systems in the next two weeks, so I’m sure we’re not done with snow. But these little signs of spring are just the mental pick-me-up I need as we start the month of March.
