In 2020 I ordered several Top Northern Tier (TNT) daylilies from Solaris Farms to fill my north-facing front flowerbeds which take a lot of wind and cold in the winter. TNT daylilies are proven tough with higher than average bud counts.
This week ‘So Beautiful to Me’ bloomed for me for the first time.
This daylily’s color is officially registered as “pastel pink self above a green throat”. I would describe it as a fetching peachy pink with golden ruffles on the petals.
‘So Beautiful to Me grows 30 inches tall with 6-inch flowers, and once established it’s supposed to be a heavy bloomer.
This cultivar was bred by one of my favorite hybridizers (Klehm). I grow many of his daylilies and they always impress me with their big flowers and long blooming season.
‘So Beautiful to Me’ is a dormant daylily that was registered in 2003, and it’s hardy to Zone 3.
