Cleanup in the Paint Aisle!

I had a few empty spots in my garden this spring so I decided to buy some Asiatic lilies at the garden center. It’s much more expensive to buy them as plants than bulbs, but I wanted instant gratification.

One of the lilies I chose is from a new series called Tango. This is ‘Cappuccino’:

At first I wasn’t sure what to think about it. It looks like someone spilled a can of paint all over a white flower.

It’s beginning to grow on me (no pun intended).
