Daylily ‘Newberry Cherry Eye’ is an early-season daylily that has pink flowers with a cherry eye. Here it is in morning light.
This is a shorter daylily (25 inches), but it sports big, 6-inch flowers. In afternoon light those flowers have more of a salmon tint to them.
‘Newberry Cherry Eye’ was registered in 1993 and the flowers are also fragrant. This cultivar is hardy to Zone 3.
