I’ve got hundreds of daylilies putting on a show right now, and it’s fun to go out into the garden every morning and see what’s new. Here is just a handful of what’s blooming right now:
‘Peggy Jeffcoat’ is my favorite double. The blooms are huge (6.5″) and incredibly fragrant:
‘Pandora’s Box always puts on a nice little show in my shade garden:
I love daylilies with watermarks (the faint marking around the eye). This is ‘Semiramide’:
On a daylily tour a few years ago, every house on the tour had a ‘Wayside Painted Lady’. I can understand why. It’s gorgeous:
I used to think spider daylilies were ugly. But now I like the interesting shape they add to the garden. This is ‘Selma Longlegs’:
And here’s ‘Eggplant Escapade’:
For a little fire, I have ‘Alabama Jubilee’ in my collection:
I always look forward to the beautiful blooms from ‘Ivory Edges’:
I could go on all day, but I’ll end with the lovely ‘Elizabeth Salter’:
