One of the better performing daylilies in my garden this past summer was ‘Creepy Crawler’. The golden flowers are very open—-almost spider-like—-with interesting little “teeth” on the petals.
‘Creepy Crawler’ grows 30 inches tall with 6-inch flowers. This dormant daylily blooms early-to-mid-season and the flowers are fragrant. It’s an older cultivar (1973) so it won’t put a dent in your wallet.
‘Creepy Crawler’ performed wonderfully for me in partial shade (early morning and late afternoon sun). I was greeted almost every morning with new flowers for over a month.
