Garden Winner: Calendula ‘Deja Vu’

I just finished my seed orders, and I made sure to purchase another packet of Calendula ‘Deja Vu’. This mix from Johnny’s Selected Seeds quickly became my favorite last summer. The flowers come in all sorts of interesting shades of cream, brown, orange, yellow and pink. Many of them have contrasting tips.

The plants do well in full sun or partial shade and grow about 20 inches tall. If you deadhead them, they will bloom all summer. Even after the temperatures dipped into the mid-twenties in November, some of my ‘Deja Vu’ plants were still happily blooming away.

These calendula look delicious! Just wondering if they would hold up at our summer place. Was thinking of trying a Touch of Red there. Decisions! Decisions! James

‘Deja Vu’ is fun because of the flower variety. I will be sprouting some again this year.
