My taste in daylilies is constantly evolving. I used to detest spider and unusual form daylilies, but in the last few years they’ve started to grow on me. I own a handful so far—all of them impulse purchases.
Daylily ‘Divine Design’ intrigued me because of its interesting curled back, twisty petals and sepals.
This daylily has pretty rose-colored flowers with a creamy yellow-green center.
‘Divine Design’ grows 28 inches tall with 6-inch flowers and is listed as an early-season bloomer. My new plant was a little bit more laid back last summer and bloomed mid-season in my zone 5 garden.
