Last year I sprouted a petunia called ‘Hurrah Coral Flare’ (pictured above). I accidentally started it from seed a month late and it still bloomed earlier than any of my other petunias. The plants were bushy and green all summer long and churned out an abundance of coral flowers until our first frost in October. It was the perfect “plant-it-and-forget-about-it” flower.
I grew ‘Hurrah Coral Flare’ again this year, but I also decided to try another color in the series, ‘Hurrah Red.’
Wow, that is one screaming-red petunia:
Like its sibling, ‘Hurrah Red’ grows 12 inches tall and shrugs off heat and humidity.
