Rosy Does Indeed Return

My ‘Rosy Returns’ daylilies are really living up to their name this summer. As my two plants continue to bloom, they are already sending up fresh new scapes. Usually they bloom for 6 weeks or so and rest a little bit before sending up another flush of flowers in late summer into early fall.

I’m amazed at how well my plants perform with only a few hours of sunlight each day.

‘Rosy Returns’ is a descendant of ‘Happy Returns’. Breeder Darrel Apps has created quite a few “siblings” in different colors that are all repeat bloomers. I might try ‘Red Hot Returns’ next.
