I came home last week to find a strange cat in my backyard ready to pounce. He was staring down a chipmunk who was frozen in place about 10 feet away.
The two stared at each other for about 3 minutes. Only the cat’s tail moved, twitching slowly back and forth.
I had to leave the room for a few moments and when I returned the chipmunk was gone and the cat had resumed a more relaxed pose.
My yard is crawling with chipmunks and squirrels right now so he’ll have plenty of critters to freak out.
