I was thrilled to see a rose blooming in my garden yesterday morning that hadn’t been attacked by beetles. This is ‘Mr. Lincoln’:
‘Mr. Lincoln’ is one of the most fragrant roses you can grow which is why I planted mine right next to our screen porch. Its dreamy rose scent wafts from dark red flowers that sit atop very long stems.
‘Mr. Lincoln’ is a hybrid tea rose so it benefits from winter protection where the winters are harsh. Its hardy in Zones 5-9 and grows 4 feet tall.
