The other day when I said I’d soon have tulips popping up all over my yard, I certainly wasn’t putting in a request. Yet this is what I discovered yesterday morning:
I’ve been paranoid for the last few weeks about the warm temperatures coaxing some of my bulbs out of hibernation. I bet that half-inch of rain we received the other night gave this batch of tulips the final nudge.
I hope the rest of my spring bulbs slumber for a little longer because I’m sure Mother Nature still has a few tricks up her sleeve.
