The Tulip Decapitation Committee is still hard at work:
In fact they’ve now branched off into eating the tops off of all my Oriental and Asiatic lilies as they emerge from the ground. You can imagine how pleased I am about that.
Thankfully they overlooked this bloom from Tulip ‘Akebono’. I wanted to yell “Ha Ha, you missed one!!!” at the top of my lungs when I found it, but “pride goeth before destruction.”
