The blooms of daylily ‘Ming Porcelain’ are hard to describe. Even the registered description is complicated: “Pastel-ivory-pink-touched, peach-edged gold and yellow halo with lime”. Now that’s a mouthful.
‘Ming Porcelain’ grows 28 inches tall with 5.25-inch blooms. The pastel flowers blend beautifully with many other colors in the garden.
My favorite thing about this daylily is the gorgeous diamond dusting on the petals. When the sun shines on them, you can’t help but notice the sparkle.
