Profusion zinnias have never let me down, and this winter I was excited to learn that several new cultivars have been added to the Profusion family. This is ‘Double Hot Cherry’:
‘Double Hot Cherry’ is an AAS award-winner with bright, cherry-pink flowers that do not fade. The plants are bushy and compact and crank out flowers all summer long into fall.
Like all the other Profusion zinnias, ‘Double Hot Cherry’ is disease-resistant and tolerates garden conditions of all kinds. In our drought and excessive heat last summer many of my flowers were melting off their stems, but my Profusion zinnias just kept on blooming.
‘Double Hot Cherry’ grows 12-14 inches tall with 2-to-3-inch flowers that look especially fetching with purple annuals and perennials.
