I was sorting through some photo folders recently when a bold, red bloom caught my attention.
Sadly I don’t have Daylily ‘Baja’ anymore. It got lost in the shuffle when we had some landscaping done a few years ago. I miss that bright-red color.
This cultivar is almost 40 years old (1974), so it may not be very easy to find anymore.’Baja’ really adds a “pop” of color to the garden.
‘Baja’ grows 26 inches tall with 6-inch bright-red flowers. This semi-evergreen daylily blooms in the middle of the daylily season.
