Most daylilies bloom in earnest for a number of weeks during the summer and then quit for the season (especially in my Zone 5 climate). Daylily ‘Rosy Returns’ doesn’t play by those rules. It’s one of the first daylilies to bloom in the spring and will continue sending up pretty rose-pink flowers into fall.
‘Rosy Returns’ grows 16″ tall so it’s a great plant for the front of the border. The 3.75″ blooms blend wonderfully with many other plants, but I particularly like them in combination with purple flowers like Daylily ‘Grape Velvet.’
