Like my other Orienpet lilies, ‘Belladonna’ put on an astounding show last summer. The bulbs have been in my garden for a couple of years now and each year they grow a little taller and bloom more heavily.

‘Belladonna’ has gorgeous, golden-yellow outfacing flowers that have a light, pleasant fragrance:

The color looks great with purples, reds and even oranges. My bulbs are growing next to ‘Red Volunteer’ daylilies and the yellow brings out the daylily’s golden throat:

‘Belladonna’ is hardy in Zones 5-9. The plants grow 4 feet tall and have sturdy stems that don’t need staking.
