Judging from the 9 billion photos I snapped of ‘Tahiti’ this spring, I must be pretty enamored with this double-flowering daffodil.
I’ve grown ‘Tahiti’ before, but not for many years. I forgot what I was missing. The double, butter-yellow blooms have a ruffled-orange center, and the flowers last for weeks and weeks.
‘Tahiti’ grows 14 to 16 inches tall. The flowers sit atop very sturdy stems.
‘Tahiti’ is hardy in Zones 3-8. In my Zone 5 garden, the flowers started blooming in mid-April and continued well into May.
