You know the gardening season is winding down when the sedums are ready to pop. This is ‘Autumn Fire’ just on the verge of opening its first flowers. Somewhere there are honeybees and bumblebees squirming with anticipation.
‘Mr. Goodbud’ isn’t waiting any longer. It’s my first sedum to start blooming this year:
Sedums are easy to grow and come in many sizes. They bloom in shades of pink or red, and most of them are very winter-hardy. Sedums bloom for many weeks in late summer and early fall.
