Orienpet lilies are such a joy to grow because each year they get bigger and sturdier and the display gets more and more impressive.
‘Flashpoint’ has dark, pinkish-red flowers with white edges, and those huge flowers are out-facing so you don’t have to crane your neck to enjoy the show.
Like all Orienpets, ‘Flashpoint’ grows on sturdy stems, and the flowers have a lovely scent. While the flowers don’t fade drastically if grown where they are exposed to hot afternoon sun, you’ll get the best color if the flowers get a little shade in the hottest part of the day.
Every year I’ve grown this lovely lily it’s cranked out more and more flowers.
‘Flashpoint’ is hardy in Zones 5-9.
