I tried a new Zahara Zinnia color this year—‘Double Salmon Rose’:
The flowers are indeed a lovely salmon color. but I also like how they fade as they age into shades of antique pink, cream, and light pink. Sometimes the aging petals also have a hint of yellow in them:
Like all the other Zaharas, ‘Double Salmon Rose’ grows in a nice mound, blooms for months, and needs no special care or attention. The plants grow 12 to 18 inches tall in sun or part-sun.
I will definitely grow this lovely color again.
