When I think of my favorite daylilies, there aren’t many pink cultivars on that list, but two that I recommend highly are ‘Jersey Girl’ and ‘Chance Encounter’.
‘Jersey Girl’ grows 28 inches tall with rose-pink flowers and a contrasting green throat. The plants are heavy bloomers, and the fragrant flowers appear in the middle of the daylily season and keep coming for weeks.
Daylily ‘Chance Encounter’ is a stunner, but I never seem to be able to capture its beauty in a photograph.
This cultivar has raspberry-pink, 6-inch flowers with a yellow-green throat. The petals have a slight gold edge to them and the flowers are very fragrant.
‘Chance Encounter’ grows 26 inches tall and blooms in the middle of the daylily season. My plant grows in partial-shade and still cranks out flowers for many weeks each summer.
