I forgot to collect seed from my anise hyssop (licorice mint) plants again last fall so I used the seeds I collected and dried in 2015 and hoped for the best with germination.
This perennial herb blooms the first year from seed and is absolutely irresistible to bees. I like it because it grows and blooms happily in both full sun or partial-shade.
I guess I didn’t have to worry about my seed still being viable!
