I made an impulse purchase while shopping for replacement perennials recently. This is geranium ‘Ballerina’.
I didn’t know until I got it home that it’s a Zone 5 plant. Oops! I’ll try to enjoy it as much as possible since it will probably croak over the winter.
‘Ballerina’ has lavender flowers with interesting little purple veins and a dark purple throat. The plants grow 6 inches tall with a 10-inch spread. Perennial geraniums will thrive in full sun to partial-shade.
