After filling all of my pots and planters back in May, I had some ‘Tidal Wave Silver’ petunias left over, so I crammed them into our front-yard retaining wall. They didn’t disappoint:
It only takes 2 or 3 of these free-flowering petunias to make a big impact, and while all of the Tidal Wave series petunias behave this way, I would argue that ‘Tidal Wave Silver’ is the most prolific bloomer of them all. These petunias look particularly fetching next to anything purple because those companions draw out the tiny purple veins in the flowers.
‘Tidal Wave Silver’ petunias grow 8 inches tall and spread as much as 4 feet. They appreciate a regular dose of fertilizer to support all that flowering, but they’ll thrive even if neglected.
